*Please note: Students can choose to either pay for the Diploma upfront or defer $11,616 to FEE-HELP and pay $3,900 upfront. The deferred component consists of tuition-related expenses. The upfront component relates to incidental fees (transport, accommodation, food, visas, other misc.) and cannot be deferred to FEE-HELP.
These costs include the cross-cultural mission trip, lunch on campus twice a week, retreat, and other extras like first aid training. Anyone who does not pay the upfront fee of $3,900, will not be permitted on the cross-cultural mission trip.
Certificate in Theology (CertTheol)
The Certificate in Theology is an internal award of the Australian College of Theology. It is open to persons who have satisfactorily completed Year 10 in an Australian school system (or equivalent). It is not recognised outside of the ACT, but it can be used for a small amount of credit towards a Diploma, if someone wants to follow on with a Diploma at a later stage. FEE-HELP is not available for those enrolled in the ThC.
The Certificate in Theology is a full fee-paying course, incorporating 8 units plus numerous activities and an overseas trip.
As a full-time student you may be eligible for Youth Allowance. We encourage students to raise the portion of fees that will go towards their cross-cultural trip through fundraising in their church. Many students find this a big help alongside working part-time jobs to pay their fees. A payment installment plan is available, allowing the course fees to be paid through regular payments each term. A fee of 2.5% of the outstanding sum is levied after each instalment date listed below.
